Full Job Description

What you will do
You will undertake accounting processes that support the integrity of the Group's general ledger, financial and regulatory reporting, with a focus on accounting for the Group's Commercial Finance (CF) and Real Estate Finance (REF) divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Through reconciliation, analysis and review, confirm the validity of financial information used in the Group's internal and external reporting.


  • Undertake control procedures, including reconciliations, to maintain the integrity of the general ledger. Take ownership of resolving any reconciling items identified, including through working with Operations teams where required.


  • Support in delivery and reconciliation of daily and monthly interfaces and product related journals into general ledger. Provide support in testing any new interface journals being developed.


  • Contribute to continuous process improvements, automation, support of projects and other ad-hoc duties as required.


  • Support the Statutory Accounts, Regulatory & Treasury Reporting processes for STB Group, through the provision of accurate and timely data.


  • Development of effective relationships with both internal and external key customers, including Operations teams.


  • Deliver other ad-hoc tasks/projects as agreed with line manager.
