You will join the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, with a suite of postgraduate programmes, a fully integrated MPharm based on Team-Based Learning (TBL) and research excellence.

What you will be doing:

The key objective of this postholder will be to lead, develop and deliver healthcare leadership modules on our new MSc Clinical Pharmacy and Healthcare Leadership programme which is aimed at International pharmacists. You will guide and support students through this full time Masters programme so they can effect positive change in the country they choose to practice in.

The postholder will be a key member of the team delivering our Postgraduate taught clinical programmes, and have input into the strategic direction of our provision, particularly in the area of healthcare leadership.
The postholder will also undertake research in a relevant area and support pharmacists to develop their research potential.

An honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area OR honours degree in an unrelated subject with a higher degree and/or professional qualification in an appropriate area
Advance HE Fellow (D2) or equivalent experience and commitment to obtaining this following appointment
Evidence of relevant research expertise
Evidence of programme leadership and enhancement, or leadership of large core modules
Evidence of resolving complex education and/or research related problems, using initiative and creativity whilst ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and policies

25 days holiday (Grade 8) 30 days (Grade 9) and 13 statutory and customary days (taken at Easter and Christmas).
