Full Job Description

Business Process Leader - Raw Materials, You will develop and deliver the process by which our raw materials portfolio is documented, optimized, and managed. To do so, you will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, setting up and managing a cross functional community of practice which will include colleagues from Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety Assurance, Regulatory, Sustainability and R&D Health and Hygiene, amongst other functions. You will be part of a core team that will define the overall blueprint for Product Data Management and its subsequent implementation in the PLM solution.

Without this corner stone role, along with the Product and Packaging Business Process Lead roles, the other Business Proceed Lead roles will be ineffective and not make the significant benefits this business case promises to deliver.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide transformational leadership to achieve a standardized, end-to-end Materials Management process across Health and Hygiene and own this process.

  • Identify the key intersection points with other processes and ensure that these interfaces are managed efficiently, data integrity is maintained, and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood.

  • Compose formal documentation to capture the Raw Materials Management process and associated parts.

  • Working closely with the MDG team, identify the Data Quality Standards for the data that is created and exchanged as part of this process.

  • Define the Roles and Responsibilities associated with the 'To-be' process, identifying where these roles already exist and where new Roles will need to be created.

  • Build and maintain a collaborative, cross-functional Material Management Community of Practice (MM CoP) who have sufficient knowledge, credibility and authority to input, endorse and support implementation of the 'to-be' Materials Management process and its associated parts.

Good degree in a relevant technical discipline.

  • Previous experience of leading teams and line management

  • Advanced communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate successfully in various team capacities and a multi-cultural environment, at senior levels and with external partners.

  • Proven track record in defining and delivering change projects.

  • Strong IT literacy with proficiency in the use of the MS Office product suite.

  • Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of corporate codes of conduct.

  • A good understanding of the product lifecycle and of regulations impacting the FMCG sector.
