Full Job Description

The Client Documentation Specialist is responsible for verification and authorisation of client documentation prior to onboarding a diverse range of high net worth clients from private individuals, trusts, pensions, charities to corporates. Accurately set up client accounts and maintain customer records with due care and diligence.

Overview of Key Duties:

  • Diligently review account opening documents and ensure they comply with UK Money Laundering Regulations and the Bank's Client Onboarding process.

  • Identify any high risk factors, apply Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements and refer high risk clients to Financial Crime for sign-off.

  • Effectively liaise with the Front Office to remediate client agreements, Client Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Client information (KYC), Tax forms and internal forms. Advice and guide them on client onboarding related queries.

  • Co-ordinate account set up with the Service Centre in Zurich and the Front Office.

  • Accurately input client static data, investment restrictions, tax, MiFID client classification on the relevant systems.

  • Ensure appropriate scanning and record-keeping of client documentation.

  • Participate in projects, relevant business initiatives and ad hoc activities.

  • Deputise for the Lead Specialist Client Documentation when required.

    A levels or equivalent.

  • Experience of client onboarding within Operations/Middle Office in a Wealth Management environment.

  • Good understanding of the UK Money Laundering Regulations, JMLSG Guidance, HRMC Tax requirements, FATCA/CRS requirements, MiFID client classification, LEI and Qualified Intermediary Regime.
