The successful candidates will work to realise Gateshead's ambition for these challenges by bringing together public, private and VCFSE partners in the development and implementation of a strategy that builds on the work already underway and in the pipeline. They will provide advice to senior management and democratic structures to ensure these are embedded in the work of the Council and partner organisations and will foster alignment of programmes, projects and services to meet the challenges identified and ensure Gateshead residents and businesses benefit from the economic opportunities arising from them.
