Electrical Service Engineer

EnergyAce are seeking to recruit an Approved Electrician to fill the role of Electrical Service Engineer with a good knowledge of electrical installations and servicing of electrical equipment & switchgear to assist the service and maintenance team in supporting our clients throughout the UK., We want to recruit someone with at least 5 years experience in one of the following principles with a view to become an integral member of our busy expanding team:

• Electrical service & maintenance


• Electrical installation


• Electrical installation survey

The role will include the service & repair of EnergyAce products throughout the UK and carrying out detailed surveys on customer sites prior to the installation of EnergyAce products.

A vehicle will be provided and generous allowances for overnight stays.

On average, our Service Engineers may stay away from home approximately six to eight nights per month dependant on the location of works and occasionally carry out installations during unsociable hours and at weekends.

Following a period of internal training, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Service & maintenance of electrical apparatus and plant throughout the UK


• Replacing parts and carrying out repairs where necessary


• Installation surveys


• Installation of electrical apparatus and plant


• Installing test equipment on customer sites


• Producing survey reports


• Producing service & installation reports


• Liaising with customers


• Keeping & maintaining good records and paperwork associated with the above


• Keeping good care of company assets, vehicles, tools and plant etc


• Working away from home for periods of time.


• Surveying sites for installation of EnergyAce products
  
  Working mainly from the EnergyAce head office in Leyland and with travel throughout the UK, the ideal candidate would need to work well individually and as part of a team.


Qualities around diligence, reliability and enthusiasm are key while the right person would need to demonstrable their ability for attention to detail, a good electrical knowledge and a formal path of training.

The ideal candidate for this Electrical Service Engineer role will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role around Electrical service & maintenance, Electrical installation and Electrical installation.,
• Minimum NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or similar


• MUST have at least 5 years relevant experience


• ECS - Electricians Gold card


• Cable cutting, crimping and preparation


• Electro mechanical assembly of systems to a high standard


• An ability to identify, handle & process sometimes heavy electrical components


• An ability to fully understand wiring diagrams and single line drawings


• The ability to read & implement assembly instructions from technical documents


This position would ideally suit an existing Electrical Test Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer or electrician / installation engineer with good organizational skills and looking for a varied role with an element of travel.

Basic salary: £36,750 per annum + Bonus + Profit Share + Overtime - Circa: £43K-£47K
