This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an ESRC funded research project working with researchers at UWE and in three universities in Wales. Find out more here Home | Children's Participation in Schools (childrens-participation.org) In the context of lower primary classrooms in Wales and focussing on young children aged 5-7 years, this study aims to establish how pedagogic practices can embed participatory rights and attend routinely to young children's voice and agency.
This is a fixed term-part time vacancy (16 hours per week across 4 days) to support the administration of the project, including with our social media presence, practitioner network, and website.

You will have substantial experience of supporting administration of research projects within HEIs, be highly organised and proficient in the use of social media and experience of supporting networks. You will be colligate, flexible and work with initiative. You will have awareness of the Welsh Educational policy context and speak conversational Welsh.

Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed, while we continue to develop incredible new facilities to enhance our offer even further.
The campus has excellent transport links; we are within walking distance of two train stations, our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.
As the project focuses upon the Welsh context, we also welcome applicants who can spend some time working from home.
