Part time - 30 hours per week (9pm - 7am - Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

We're currently seeking a Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Newmarket, Suffolk. In this part-time position, you'll be providing essential support to a wonderful woman, helping her live her best life.

What You'll Do:

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll have a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individuals in your care during nighttime hours. Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Providing attentive support to individuals throughout the night, including assistance with personal needs, medication administration, and any other required tasks.

  • Conducting regular checks on individuals to ensure they are safe and comfortable, and addressing any needs or concerns that may arise during the night.

  • Maintaining accurate records of observations, incidents, and interactions during your shift, and ensuring that all relevant information is documented.

  • Collaborating with other team members, including daytime support staff, healthcare professionals, and family members, to ensure continuity of care.

  • Creating a calm and supportive environment for individuals during the night, offering comfort, reassurance, and companionship as needed.


  • We offer comprehensive induction and training, including support to obtain the Care Certificate. While primarily working nights, you may be required to workday shifts during your induction and certain training periods.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
