Freelance Events Worker

1. Work with the Events Team to provide fun activities for members and their families.

2. Provide physical, social and emotional care to members and their families at outings and social events.

What activities will I be involved in?

1. Taking ownership of the running of specified event/s.

2. Keeping activity areas clean and tidy either at our hub or external venues.

3. Attending to the needs of members and their families

4. Carrying out a range of activities with members and their families.

1. Experience working in a caring capacity is desirable.

2. Outgoing, confident and fun-loving personality.

3. Patience and empathy.

4. An ability to represent Down Syndrome Cheshire enthusiastically and appropriately.

5. Good communication skills.

6. Ability to travel across Cheshire to events.

7. Adhere to rules around GDPR and a strong understanding of confidentiality.
