Mould Design Engineer

To support the design and introduction of moulded products and projects to the CB customer base, and act as peer review. Involved in Conception, specification, detailed design, prototyping, validation, and final launch. A key part of the strategic growth focus of the business., · Design and development of CamdenBoss and Customer Specific injection moulded and plastic fabricated products

· Working on a variety of projects, able to adapt quickly to evolving requirements and schedules, whilst maintaining focus on delivering sound engineering solutions

· Manage and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and specification

· Support & Complete design changes (ECRs) in line with processes

· Collaborate with suppliers (toolmakers, material suppliers) and customers to ensure CamdenBoss delivers to expectations

· Participates/lead design reviews (Peer Reviews and DFMEA), providing constructive feedback and creative ideas to enhance designs

· Solve problems; working with tool makers and customers to find the optimum solution

· Completes engineering tasks in a timely and efficient manner in line with internal processes to provide a quality service for internal and external customers

· Use MRP system to generate and manage BOM's effectively
