Full Job Description

The Lambing Shed is an award-winning family run Farm Shop and Kitchen in Knutsford, Cheshire. We are looking for an efficient and organised Administrator with a positive attitude to join our friendly team. This a very varied and hands on role., As Office Administrator you will work closely with, and support the owners and management team at The Lambing Shed, playing an integral part in the smooth daily running of the business.,

  • Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance.

  • Assisting with ordering stock, processing goods in and checking invoices.

  • Compiling reports.

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence, acting as a point of contact for customers, and or suppliers via email, over the phone or in person.

  • Answering queries and resolve issues for customers and suppliers.

  • Creating and managing documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

  • Scheduling meetings and interviews for Managing Director and Heads of Departments.

  • Assisting with the organisation and planning of events.

  • Ordering new office equipment, such as stationery or staff uniforms.

  • Providing other general admin support for Managing Director and Heads of Departments.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, from senior management to customers and suppliers.

  • Organisational skills and be able to multi-task between different responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in a range of computer programs, particularly Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

  • Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.

  • Customer service skills.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.

  • The ability to work within a team, and collaborate effectively.

  • Rate of pay negotiable on experience.

    This role is a part-time position - 25-30 hours per week, spread over Monday-Friday (minimum of 4 days) within school hours.

    Weekdays only - exact hours and pay to be discussed with the successful candidate.
