Full Job Description

Elmsfield House Limited is a nursing and residential home, based in Holme near Milnthorpe, Carnforth. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintain records in accordance with our policies and procedures. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

The role (not exhaustive) :
- Perform various administrative tasks to support daily operations
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
- Maintain supplies and place orders when needed
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records
- Type and proofread documents as required
- Maintain HR audit processes to ensure compliance

Experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation
- Ability to work in a caring environment, understanding that the people we care for, their friends/relatives and our staff are our priority.,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
