Seasonal Telemarketer / Telesales

This is a temporary post with no option to extend at the end of term. The position is available from now until 6th September.

Your primary responsibility will be working with our sales and distribution team to ensure our loyal customers have all they need to sell ice cream to the public during the busy summer months. This is primarily achieved through telesales as well as responding to emails.

Additional tasks include supporting accounts and helping with filing of paperwork., The list of responsibilities below is not-all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties. You will be working closely with our regular team to complete the following daily goals:

• Daily calls to customers to gather orders, and ensure that good relations are maintained


• Monitor and respond to incoming emails


• Accurately input all orders onto our ordering system


• Raise any difficulties or issues to appropriate management


• Manage all aspects of sales administration (e.g. input sales orders, issue invoices, filing invoices, issuing corrective credit notes etc.), A degree of flexibility for total number of working hours each week is preferable as additional support may be requested on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. if a heatwave is forecast, additional work may be requested).

• Previous telesales experience


• Previous customer-facing experience


• Confident using Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.) and able to use stock control software (highly preferred)

• Excellent time management skills


• Good spoken and written English
  
  We are a 5th generation family-run business searching for a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude, an ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for all things ice cream.


With over 120 years of experience in the dairying, farming and ice cream making business, we are extremely proud of our heritage, and our core values have been at the heart of our family's success since the early 1900s. These are being dependable, innovative and sustainable.

Our family farm is located on the outskirts of Worcester, and we have been manufacturing ice cream onsite since 1982, using fresh milk from our very own herd.

You will be employed on a temporary contract until Friday 6th September 2024. You will be paid an hourly rate for the work completed with and are expected to work 20 to 25 hours per week. Example hours are as follows:

• Monday to Friday 10:00-15:00
