Full Job Description
Bartlett Contractors Ltd is looking to strengthen their operations team with a working supervisor for our Wessex water framework agreement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team carrying out small to medium projects including, pipe laying, earthworks, concreting and ducting on potable and waste treatment sites.
You will report directly to the works/site manager and the responsibilities will include:
- In conjunction with the Works/Site Manager, co-ordinate and control initial site set-up, actively installing systems and procedures
- Ensure daily allocations, permits plant inspections are completed daily
- Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required
- Work to method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures
- Be responsible for maintaining quality throughout construction
- SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent NVQ
- Fist Aid Training
- Suitable plant tickets
- Full drivers license
- Blue Water hygiene card
- Temporary works supervisor (not essential)
- Streetworks (not essential)
- Confined space (not essential)

The role is hybrid with work sites being anywhere within the Wessex Water region, however a concerted effort is made to limit travelling where possible.
Working hours are 7am to 5pm, meaning a 9.5hr day paid, plenty of opportunity to work overtime.
Further training and development will be provided as necessary.
