Monitor CIL liabilities and S106 agreements, issue liability and demand notices and invoices and ensure all monies are collected including by enforcement.

Liaise with Legal, applicants, agents, case officers and other colleagues, obtaining information and giving advice and direction.

Assess exemption requests and make decisions to grant or refuse in line with legislation.

Oversee planning appeals. Whilst day to day appeals work is dealt with by admin staff this role becomes involved with Hearings and Public Inquiries.

We are seeking an experienced officer to monitor Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 Legal Agreements (S106) as part of our friendly team of professional planning officers and administrators. Whilst we would prefer previous CIL/S106 experience or planning experience we will consider applicants from similar regulatory backgrounds.
