Full Job Description

As a Management Accountant you will have the opportunity to build strong working relationships across financial and non-financial stakeholders. Effective communication skills are essential and the ability to work closely as part of a wider team to deliver set objectives. The role also offers opportunity to work across a multi-site global environment with opportunities to drive standardization in facility based reporting.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver strong budgetary management to ensure expenditure is aligned to affordability targets

  • Prepare weekly control towers and present to non-financial stakeholders

  • Support the preparation of investment papers for Capital Expenditure

  • Management of Assets and associated balance sheet reconciliations

  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.

  • Provide variance analysis for departments under your responsibility, Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.

    Education/Experience: Educated to a degree level or qualified by experience. Professional Certification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision - Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights.

  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes- Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data.

  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material - Interprets major types of financial statements issued by the organisation.

  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports - Follows organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting.


  • Additional highly desired skills include:
  • Experience of data analytics and visualisation tools such as MS PowerBI, MS PowerApps, or Alteryx

  • Experience of accounting within a manufacturing environment
