Duties & Responsibilities:Price individual large insurance policies and be a business partner for underwriters in this processSupport the recalibration of existing pricing models, by analysing external or internal claims and exposure data to enhance proprietary pricing factors and models.Collaborate with other departments and other regions on the development and maintenance of actuarial reporting processes.Work with our data compilation team to ensure high quality data capture.Provide technical support, as needed, to underwriters on pricing models.Assist the underwriting community in benefiting from available reporting tools. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.Actively pursuing Fellowship with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with proven progress.Actuarial experience in a General Insurance role preferable. Job Opportunity: Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for Actuarial candidates to join our European Actuarial Team. We are looking for individuals who have an ability to excel and an excellence of character. The team is growing and there are multiple positions available which will be based in our London office. These roles come with exposure to UK and European Casualty and Healthcare, with an area of focus depending on the skills of the individual.
