Full Job Description
- Please note that training will be over 6 days at the Head Office in Stockport - Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

Experience of working as a Cook is desirable, but training will be provided for those applicants that can cook and produce good food - Good verbal communication skills and the ability to listen to others
- Basic IT skills (Your role will involve some computer work, completing forms, using an online care system, and writing emails)
- An Understanding of the issues around confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to form and maintain professional working boundaries between staff and service users
- City & Guilds 706 part 1 & 2 in Catering Services, NVQ in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent qualification.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
- Previous experience of working as a Cook
- Previous experience of supporting service users with eating disorders, Care in Mind provide residential services for young people aged 16-30 years old who have been discharged from psychiatric inpatient stays or secure children's homes. The young people we care for often require a high level of support and dynamic approach to risk management in order to support problems they may have with self-harming, behaviour and emotional regulation. Our aim is to support the young people using a therapeutic approach to live in a non-secure community setting and to achieve their individual goals in preparation for transition to adult life.
