Full Job Description
Being a companion is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Duties can include:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
No qualifications are needed. Care experience is welcomed but not essential. - Excellent pay rates - from £12.10 to £12.50 per hour, double time bank holiday enhanced rates.
- Types of hours available - From 16hrs to 35+ hours available.
- Minimum 1 hour calls - so you have the time needed with the client.
- Area - visits based in one post-code area so less travel for care professionals.
- Employee referral bonus programme - £150 bonus scheme when you refer a friend and they complete their probation period.
- Mileage -0.33p per mile after the first 10.
