Commercial Finance Analyst

We have grown to a £125m turnover business this year, practically doubling in size both organically and through our acquisition journey! As part of this growth, we are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our high performing, fast paced finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role is vital to providing the backbone of data we provide within the Commercial Finance team.
You will be responsible for data consolidation and reporting to help drive key business conversations and decisions. Not only will you provide valuable insight into the business, but you'll also be instrumental in ensuring one source of truth for the Commercial Managers.
A day in the life of a Commercial Finance Analyst / MI Analyst…

• Own the data we provide to stakeholders by updating financial reports, scorecards (actuals, budget and latest forecasts) and help drive consistent reports across multiple teams


• Ensure accuracy of weekly and monthly reports, maintaining dashboards to track KPIs and metrics


• MI packs - update numbers from various sources to identify trends, patterns and insights


• Collaborate across the Commercial Manager group and wider finance team


We are all about improvement and learning, so we are looking for someone who will also identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency enhancement.
