We are seeking to appoint a passionate and ambitious Conference & Events Coordinator who is a team player

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Conference & Events Coordinator looking for a challenging role

The Conference & Events Co-ordinator focusing on all events from conferences, social and wedding enquiries, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution, delivering a polite professional and efficient service to our established and new clients.

· The Coordinator provides excellent customer service through every element of the event or group enquiry, utilizing strong partnership and selling skills.

· Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high level service through pre-event, during event and post event.

· Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue, conversion and drive repeat business

· Dealing with any customer feedback and providing a prompt and effective response

· Excellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative

· Ability to work under pressure maintaining a positive can do attitude

· Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and be the best

· Communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the business and build a strong rapport with guests

· Excellent decision making and influencing skills

Prior to commencing employment, applicants must have evidence of their right to work in the UK, and employment is also subject to receiving two references,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
