The teams within Digital Platforms and SEO are focused on continually improving these experiences for our customers through both transformation and optimisation activity, trying to attract more people to our website (both new and existing customers) and encouraging more of them to complete more interactions online with us. For us to do this, understanding the performance of our digital experiences, and identifying opportunities for improvement is key., We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a background in using web analytics, insight and performance tools to be embedded into one of our squads, helping the team to deliver against their core metrics. You'll provide reporting and analysis to the squad, to the wider team, senior stakeholders and other across the society who are interested in understanding the performance of the squad and product that you're focussed on.

We're currently going through a period of exciting change within the Digital Platforms and SEO team, creating a new digital strategy, balanced scorecard, and way of working within our Customer, Brand and Engagement division. You'll be working with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure that our work delivers business value, but does so in a way that balances our regulatory requirements, propositions, commercial and consumer benefits.

Should you be based anywhere other than Swindon the role will require regular travel to Swindon at least once per month.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll work embedded into one of our executional squads where you'll be an integral player providing insight, reporting and analytics for the squad against the scorecard metrics that hold the team to account.

You'll do this by:

  • Analysing a variety of data sources and types to generate measurement and insight and identify areas for improvement.

  • Creating reports to be consumed and used by various stakeholders across the society, potentially right up to Exco.

  • Analysing experiments (A/B & MVT) to improve SEO, user engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Developing and communicating metrics, insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    As a minimum you'll have:

  • A breadth and depth of experience and expertise in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target to develop dashboards and generate insight.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to turn data from a variety of sources into actionable insight.

  • Proven experience of analysing robust experiments with measurable value through A/B and MVT testing.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and positively influence business stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex data in an engaging, clear and concise manner.

  • Proven commercial awareness, translating insight and results into a clear articulation of value.
