Full Job Description

We are currently seeing a part qualified Management Accountant who will be responsible for providing accurate Financial Reporting of the business. The successful candidate will support the business to grow with financial analysis and business partnering to ensure financial analysis is part of decision making.,

  • Production of timely and accurate monthly Consolidated Management Account pack for the TruffleHunter group of Companies

  • Supporting and challenging Budget Holders to Control, Monitor and Forecast Fixed Overheads

  • Working alongside Production and Production planning teams to ensure all product input costs are understood, monitored and get valued correctly as Work in Progress or Finished Goods

  • Ensuring Variable Selling overheads align with revenue, working with Head of departments to keep spend under control

  • Taking a leading role in the filing of statutory annual accounts and any associated financial audits for all TruffleHunter companies

  • General ledger management including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations

  • Ensuring Business Central (ERP system) is constantly being reviewed to ensure optimisation of the system and to improve the efficiency of the department

  • Managing Budget and Forecasting process for Cost of Sales (including Labour budget), Variable Selling Costs and Fixed Overheads

  • Preparing VAT returns

  • Creating proposed supplier payments

  • Supporting / covering other members of the Finance team as required

  • Other ad hoc work as required

    Part qualified (CIMA or equivalent)

  • Solid experience of working in a financial environment

  • Sound knowledge of financial tools

  • Experience of working with ERP accounting systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team

  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs

  • Organisational skills

  • Good personal interaction skills

  • Previous experience in discounted cash flows, business production processes, financial data processing and bookkeeping

  • Previous experience working with Business Central, ERP systems: 2 years (required)

    Up to £45,000.00 per annum - salary dependent on qualifications and experience
