Working for the Teacher Training School means that you would be part of the Cranmer Education Trust, a successful, growing Trust which prides itself on looking after its people, offering a high level of support and access to expertise. Alongside the Teacher Training School, the Trust is made up of primary and secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale. This position will be based at the central team's offices in Cranmer House at The Blue Coat School, but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.

Our teacher training business is continuing to develop and we are looking to add an Operations Coordinator to our team to help us drive our business functions - organising events, managing a stakeholder database and customer help desk.

The role will be as part of a growing team based in an accessible Oldham town centre location. No two days will be the same for the successful applicant and the variety of the nature of work, as well as the partnership engagement, will make a great opportunity for someone who thrives on 'getting things done' with good organisational and planning skills. We can provide training for specific systems and in relation to the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced self-starter, you don't have to have worked in education, but your current role, or recent roles maybe operations, data, or events. What matters is that you have good organisational and planning skills and that you are comfortable with large data sets.

  • Has experience of delivering operational and or administration duties in a busy working environment.

  • Has experience of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Has the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, colleagues and members of the public.

  • Is self-reliant, resourceful and has the ability to work on their own initiative.
