Sports Coach (Full time - term time only)

The King's School Chester has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Sports Coach to work across the Junior and Senior school. Reporting to the Head of Junior School Sport you will be responsible for coaching various sports (in particular netball, football, hockey, cricket, tennis) including leading a team in the Senior School in each of the three terms.

The sports coach is not a teaching role but will be expected to lead games sessions and support PE lessons.

Our ideal candidate will:

• have proven experience of delivering sports coaching in a school environment


• hold a level 2 coaching qualification/s, more than one would be an advantage


Hours of the role - equivalent to 37 hours per week

Actual salary is £18,009 per annum (£22,511 FTE) with fabulous additional benefits (see the candidate pack for more details)
