Full Job Description
- Serving trade, trade cash and public at trade counter efficiently and courteously
- Working pro-actively within the customer service team
- Escalating customer service issues to Customer Service Manager and ensuring resolution
- Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies
- Ensuring best service levels for all Company customers through all locations
- Controlling and maintaining your allocated customer accounts
- Increasing the number of trading customer accounts and ensuring that this business grows
- Ensuring that all customers trade within their agreed credit terms and resolving queries in order to ensure prompt payment
- Participating in external/internal staff meetings as required
The successful candidate will be a customer focused, confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in the Timber/Construction industry, however training is available for the right candidate., customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Full time position, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm, alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm. An average of 44.5 hours per week. - Christmas and New Year shut down
- 6 weeks holiday per year including the public bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 5 years' service
